Pope Benedict on Duns Scotus' view that sin did not cause Incarnation
The fifth paragraph of the Pope Benedict XVI's address considers an important elements of Duns Scotus' Christology-- the Incarnation was not caused by sin, but "but is God's original idea of ultimately uniting with himself the whole of creation" (Benedict).
